So we had a little scare at 12 weeks, but we went in and the nurse got this cute picture of our little jelly bean just as active as ever!

Ok so i was only 8 weeks when we had the first sonogram, and i can't really see much but here it is!

Baby Ashley

Ok so we started this blog so all our friends and family could see little baby "a" grow! We are anxiously awaiting the arrival of our first child... and no we don't know what we are having so it is going to be such a wonderful surprise. I am going to go back to the first day we found out that we were going to have a little one. It was a SURPRISE! Don't get me wrong it was a very nice surprise, but we were not expecting it. God knows what he is doing though and we can't imagine it any other way. I found out on January 19th, 2009 at lunch time and Josh was home. I had bought a burp cloth in Houston a long time ago an invisioned how I was going to tell him, but I think I was so shocked that I just handed it to him just to see his reaction. He read it, started laughing and said ...what and then cried. I then sent him back to the store for another test just to make sure and yes all three said the same thing! I wanted to wait to tell everyone but josh was very anxious and couldn't wait, so the next day we had both sets of parents over for dinner (which we did on a regular basis) and josh put this picture on the screen...
